The exhibition “Responsabilmente. Packaging: istruzioni per l’agire quotidiano [Responsibly. Packaging: Instructions for Everyday Actions]” (project of the exhibition by V. L. Bucchetti, E. Ciravegna) was organised at the Ipack-Ima 2012 fair (February 28 / March 3, 2012 – Rho Pero Milan Fair – CONAI Space “Progettare il futuro. Packaging è Qualità di vita [Designing the future. Packaging is Quality of Life“) to present a selection of packaging projects developed by the students of the Final Synthesis Studio (lecturers V. L. Bucchetti, E. Ciravegna, C. Diana, M. Minoggio) and the Packaging Design Course (lecturers V. L. Bucchetti, E. Ciravegna) of the Degree in Communication Design (School of Design, Politecnico di Milano, A.Y. 2009-2010 / 2010-2011).
Prevention, security and progress are the key-words from which the notion of “responsibility” was declined and from which they took shape the exhibited projects: “packaging-media” capable of responding to the challenges that the system of products requires, but renewing its communicative function and improving the quality of our daily actions.
